Drama in English Language Teaching and Learning I hear and I forget,
I listen and I remember,
I do and I understand.
(Chinese proverb) This workshop explores the exciting possibilities of drama in the ELT classroom but does
not avoid some of the difficult questions too.
Participants will try out a range of drama activities from short games and improvisations to
directing your own class production. On the way we’ll work with specially written sketches
and scenarios.
A workshop that aims to give you lots of ideas and materials for the classroom and also,
hopefully, the confidence to try them out! Biodata:
Manuela Calzini is from Northumberland in England, and has many years experience teaching English and drama. She has been giving teacher training seminars for many years in Italy, Vilnius and Britain. Since 2005 she works for Trinity College Italy.
